It's Been A While

It really has been a while.

 To keep you all updated, my net return Ytd is around 9.65%, to put it in a more contextual sense, the average return for hedge funds is around 3%.  

In these few months, I have learnt more about finance.  I have started speculating intelligently as well.  Look forward to add my five cents on that in the future.

Horse- Racing !

Getting to know horse-racing is the best gift in my half-term break!  Quite fun!  Managed to pull off a tri-factor on the 2nd day! Made my day!  

What has this got to do with investment / trading?

Well, gambling is not a game of luck.  You need to know your stuff and listen to your heart (sometimes).  More importantly, there is infinite amount of skills for us to learn in both activities, making them fun. 

Reconstruction!

To everyone out there,

After giving some thoughts on the financial market, I decided to short all the shares I have before the start of 'horse' year.  Only managed to make profits in 1 stock- 083.  I lost some money in the other two.  The most important thing is, I have learnt more through this.  I have learnt to be more patient and execute more technically.  Hope it will be better in my new portfolio.  ( A fourth stock is add in - 2600.  It is an aluminium company)

Bust

If you all look into ' A Cambrian moment' in the Economist, it also briefly mentioned the possibility of a next dot com bust , echoing to my ' 2-1-2-3; 2-1-5' passage.  This further backs up my argument. Yes.

Deflation

Will deflation start to break out in Eurozone, making the bust come earlier than we thought it would have?
